Steve DeVries is a Telecom Signalling expert whose career spans the full spectrum of network technology, from hands-on fieldwork to advanced protocol training. With roots in central office maintenance, phone installation, and even pole climbing, Steve’s early experience gave him an unmatched understanding of telecom operations from the ground up.
He developed and delivered SS7 and related signalling courses for Bellcore (Telcordia Technologies) in the 1990s, mastering protocols like X.25, BX.25, and SS7 as a Resident Visitor at Bellcore. Since joining Cellusys in 2017 as Head of Training, Steve has been shaping the next generation of Telecom Professionals through practical, high-impact learning.
In the masterclass, he shares lessons forged over decades of hands-on experience and technical leadership, offering insights that go far beyond textbooks, real-world know-how from the wires to the protocols that power global networks.
